The kettle rolls. Summer by the sea.
Thatcher must have been here.
She might not have but
Her spirit lies on
In England. Her spirit lies on.

When we were last great
The working class fell flat on their faces
And the press applauded.
You needed to see underneath the

Reporting to get what was happening.
So many things were
Built up in the 50’s only to be taken
Away bit by bit

Without us noticing
Much.
Where are our press?
Who owns them?
We know who owns them.
