This Shaking Place

An examination of a sense of calm amidst sound.
Amidst the swirl we hide
from sight
sound
wind whistling through cracks
slat rafters rattle
break backs
unsettling
as the kettle boils
in this shaking place
laid land
strewn with waste
still rolling in the storm.
