Thanet Writers Pay for Accepted Submissions
Thanet Writers CIC is open for submissions, is now a paying market, and will also be publishing print anthologies.
The Directors of Thanet Writers CIC are proud to announce that thanetwriters.com is now paying for accepted submissions, with published content paid at a rate of £10 per item. In addition, all currently published content which was accepted prior to 2018 is eligible for a payment of £10 per item in exchange for non-exclusive print rights, and the Editorial Team will be in touch with each writer published on thanetwriters.com via email.
Thanet Writers will also be publishing anthologies in print and ebook form, containing content by writers with a link to Thanet. These anthologies will each have an ISBN and will be a publication credit for every writer whose work is chosen.
This project is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. The Directors of Thanet Writers would like to thank Arts Council England for their support.
Since being founded in October 2015, Thanet Writers has worked to support, encourage and promote the writers, poets and authors of the Thanet creative community, and as an organisation Thanet Writers CIC is honoured to be continuing that work. By focusing on publishing quality content, cultivating the craft of writing, promoting local authors and poets along with organisations and events, and nurturing writers, Thanet Writers will continue to grow and develop in the Thanet area.
The Directors would like to extend their thanks to all those who have submitted writing, supported Thanet Writers, attended events and groups, contributed ideas, and been part of this fantastic journey. As a paying market, Thanet Writers can give something back to the writers who have made this organisation a success.
