Thanet Writers Festive Shindig

As it is that festive time of year, Thanet Writers will be hosting a gathering of writers, authors, poets, novelists, journalists, performers, friends, partners, readers, reviewers, and creatives. All are welcome at the Lifeboat Ale and Cider House in Margate!

There might be poetry, there might be storytelling, there might be food. There will definitely be drinks and friendly faces.

This will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with other writers in Thanet for Christmas drinks and conversation, as well as a chance to get to know some of the Thanet Writers staff. Of course, family and friends are invited too! This is not a formal meeting, but a time to meet local authors and poets in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Feel free to invite other writers, authors, poets, readers, and any other creative types for a festive drink and merry evening!

These socials are a fantastic opportunity for writers, people who have an interest in writing, and those who are unsure if they have an interest, to come and meet others in the community, and to find out about what Thanet Writers do and who we are.

The Thanet Writers Festive Shindig will take place on Sunday 15th December from 6pm at the Lifeboat Ale and Cider House, Margate, CT9 1EU. Entry is free and all are welcome.
