Opinion columns are more than just writing about your opinion. Whilst some writers may pursue this kind of non-fiction writing, others would not consider it as it is outside of their usual discipline. We spoke to Kent Columnist of the Year Finalist Seb Reilly to find out what writing opinion columns is like and how they can benefit other types of writing.
