On the 1st December 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat and be victimised because of her race. Her stand against discrimination became a catalyst in the US Civil Rights Movement, and the ramifications of her actions were felt across the world. Today we remember her bravery, her commitment, and her vision of what humanity could be.
