A poem about one-sided friendship.

I’ll make you feel like you don’t matter
Cos I like to watch you fall and splatter
And while you’re pooled out on the ground
You’ll be dodging my heels as I splash around.

Guess I only need you in the rain
I’ll absorb all your words to quench my pain
We’ve done this before but you don’t learn
If I wasn’t here the world wouldn’t turn.

Only worth my bother when I hurt
I’ll let you cleanse my wounds and wash the dirt
Until the sun dries my every care
You’ll say you need me but I won’t be there.
