There can be no light within the dark,
The darkness swallows all,
Light cannot survive the dark,
The light will forever die.

Yet the light will always try,
It will always fight the dark,
It will never win,
The darkness swallows all.

The light can never be truly gone,
The dark can never be truly gone,
They always war,
There will never be peace.

The darkness encompasses all,
What it cannot swallow it infects,
Worming into all,
Destroying everything it touches.

The light can hold back the darkness,
If only for a time,
The light can prevail,
The light will prevail.
